Hawzah News Agency– Hojatoleslam Gholamhossein Noferesti, interim Friday prayer leader of Birjand, has stressed that divine promises guarantee the ultimate victory of the front of truth, saying enemies of Islam have failed to halt the path of the Islamic Revolution despite extensive plots and pressure.
Speaking during this week's Friday sermon, Hojatoleslam Noferesti pointed to God's definitive promises regarding the final triumph of truth over falsehood, stating that the enemies of Islam, despite all their conspiracies and massive spending, have been unable to stop the luminous path of Islam and the Islamic Revolution, and that the future belongs to the believers and the front of truth.
Recalling the efforts of all prophets to establish God's religion, he added that today Islam remains a dominant and victorious faith despite economic, cultural, and social pressures, and that the Islamic Revolution has gained undeniable influence worldwide.
Citing the Quranic verse "And God refuses but to perfect His light," the cleric noted that God has willed to complete His light, and the movement of the prophets, martyrs, and believers is aligned with this path.
Addressing the future of the Zionist regime, he said the regime has defined its survival on the basis of aggression and war, and no future other than collapse is conceivable for it. In contrast, he added, the Islamic movement continues on its path of growth and elevation despite all obstacles.
The interim Friday prayer leader further warned against the danger of weak faith, echoing remarks by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and said any compromise or appeasement toward the enemy stems from fragile beliefs and pushes one toward hypocrisy, whereas a true believer never accepts humiliation.
He described the anniversary of Lebanon's 33-day war as a reminder of the Zionist regime's historic defeat at the hands of the resistance front, emphasizing that even with the martyrdom of commanders such as Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the resistance has not only continued but grown more fervent. He said attempts to disarm Hezbollah and impose American dominance over Lebanon are doomed to failure.
Hojatoleslam Noferesti also referred to the anniversary of the honorable return of Iranian prisoners of war on August 17, 1990, calling it a symbol of the Iranian nation's steadfastness against global powers. He said the eight-year imposed war was a confrontation between the revolution and the front of disbelief, and that despite all their might, the enemies failed to bring the Islamic establishment to its knees.
Pointing to the 1953 coup in Iran, he said the roots of American hostility toward the Iranian nation predate the Islamic Revolution, stressing that foreign domination has a long history and that pinning hopes on America for liberation from colonialism was a historic mistake that only resulted in greater dependency.
The cleric argued that the cost of resistance has always been lower than the cost of surrender, citing the fate of Muammar Gaddafi and certain regional countries as examples. Those who backed down before the West, he said, gained neither dignity nor security, but sank deeper into the swamp of humiliation.
He also described avenging the blood of martyrs as a matter beyond personal grievance, framing it within the pursuit of justice and the fulfillment of divine promises. The wait for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his advent), he added, is understood in this same context, as it will bring about justice and retribution for the oppressed.
The Friday prayer leader urged Iran's judicial and legal bodies as well as the Foreign Ministry to pursue the crimes of enemies in international forums, saying such action strengthens the resistance front and restores hope to believers while striking fear into the hearts of enemies.
The Iranian nation, he concluded, continues to stand firm on its ideals through trust in God, firm faith, and revolutionary insight, and must preserve unity and support for the resistance front while continuing the path of the martyrs.
